Vision & Mission
We give the world accessible communication solutions that connect people with vital assets, information and each other. In collaboration with our partners, we strive to be at the leading edge of developing and deploying critical communication solutions.
Services that connect people with information, vital assets and each other in rural, remote and maritime locations.
Purpose
Our communication solutions enhance the lives of people and communities in rural, remote and maritime environments. We allow them to stay in touch, & be confident that they can safely live, work & play.
We also enable a transformative change in business operations and productivity for industries and governments operating in rural and remote regions. This includes the maritime, mining, energy, resources and agriculture sectors. In addition to all this, we are a catalyst for improved environmental outcomes.
Name and ‘Beyond’ Tagline
We selected the name Pulsar in recognition of the pulsing stars that serve as the universe’s most reliable beacons. Our tagline ‘Beyond’ reflects the relentless innovation and rational explorations of new solutions we bring to everything we do.
Primary Color Palette
Our primary color palette is a range of blues evoking the eternal shades of the sea and sky at different times. Psychological associations with blue include serenity, reliability, and fidelity. Mineral Gray, a bluish gray, is our neutral selection to harmonize with all other colors.

Typography
We use SwissNow, a new take on rational san-serif typestyles. Preferred weights are Book, Light, and Medium. Where SwissNow cannot be used, and in general applications such as email, we use Helvetica.
Logos
There are three versions of the Pulsar logo, to accommodate various applications.
- The logotype is for applications where vertical space is limited, or a text-only approach is merited.
- The logo with star lockup is our primary logo and used where branding is the primary focus, such as our web site.
- The logo with tagline is used in display applications such as trade show booths.
The following are provided in .png format using the RGB color specifications. For print-ready versions in CMYK, please provide application and send a request through your Pulsar contacts.
Icons
The primary icon is the star. The star shape is taken from the abstraction of the rotational axis and radiation axis of a Pulsar, indicating motion and connection. The Pulsar star is meant to represent the stability, connectivity, & global versatility that our organization offers. We call the curved shape of the star the 'swoop' and have extended it for use in a wave icon for maritime and tree icon for natural resources. We also repurpose the shape as other elements including arrows and graphs.
